The
treatment costs include the complete treatment, consultations, surgical
material, protective material (protective glasses, eye protections),
medications as well as follow-up treatments, as required.
Additional treatments such as wave-front procedure, are also already
included in the costs of treatment.
The surgical correction of a sight
defect is not included in the basic treatments refunded by the Swiss
health insurance scheme (Krankenkassen). The flat rates quoted above
cannot, therefore, be subdivided into TarMed positions.
