With more than 50,000 operations for the correction of sight defects, Dr. Aus der Au is among the most experienced and successful eye surgeons of Switzerland. As a pioneer of laser treatment, he has performed the first ever Lasik operation in Switzerland in 1994, and founded the Vedis centers for laser eye surgery.
